    • A chimeric coiled-coil molecule is provided to be used for therapeutic angiogenesis, injury healing improvement, overcoming of impotence caused by coronary sclerosis, wound prevention of blood vessel such as sepsis and diabetic retinopathy, and treatment of all blood vessel related diseases such as shock, adrenocortical insufficiency, hypertension, arthritis, stroke, ischemic brain disease, and asthma. The chimeric coiled-coil molecule includes a coiled-coil domain which is linked to a receptor-binding domain of a ligand such as cytokines, hormones and growth factors, wherein the coiled-coil domain contains a domain belonging to a substrate protein group, a transcription factor group, a growth factor group, and a secretion group. The method for treating an ischemic disease comprises a step of administering an effective amount of the chimeric coiled-coil molecule, which is derived from cartilage matrix protein or cartilage oligomer matrix protein, to a person in need.

CONSTITUTION: A coiled coil type chimeric molecule comprises a coiled-coil domain linked to either a receptor-binding domain of a ligand or a ligand-binding domain of a receptor which forms a biologically active multimer, wherein the non-multimeric form of the chimeric molecule is not biologically active; the coiled coil domain comprises a domain belonging to a protein belonging to matrix protein family, transcription factor family, growth factor family or secretory protein family; the chimeric molecule comprises the coiled coil domain from cartilage matrix protein or cartilage oligomeric matrix protein; the receptor binding domain binds to Tie2 or Tiel receptor; the receptor binding domain is a fibrinogen-like domain of angiopoietin-1, angiopoietin-2, angiopoietin-3 or angiopoietin-4; the coiled coil domain is linked to an extracellular domain of the receptor; the ligand binding domain binds to angiopoietin-1, angiopoietin-2, angiopoietin-3 or angiopoietin-4; and the ligand binding domain comprises extracellular domain of Tie2 receptor or Tiel receptor.
