    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of lithium manganese oxide by using a solid state reaction is provided to produce LiMnO2 which is an intermediate product and Li1.6Mn1.6O4 which is a final product by only using a solid-state reaction instead of a hydration reaction. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of lithium manganese oxide by using a solid state reaction comprises next steps: mixing and heat-treating lithium compound with manganese or manganese compound; and heat-treating the LiMnO2 and produce Li1.6Mn1.6O4. The lithium compound is selected from a group including lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide, lithium nitrate, and lithium acetate. The manganese or the manganese compound is selected from a group including manganese, manganese oxide, and manganese hydroxide. A molar ratio of reactant in step 1 is 0.9
