摘要： A silicon resin comprising at least phenylheptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and/or 2,6-cis- diphenylhexamethylcyclotetrasiloxane is provided as a hydrogen permeation membrane capable of selective hydrogen permeation and capable of molding to arbitrary shape and is subjected to a firing step conducted at a thermal treatment temperature of 200 to 500°C, thereby obtaining a coating resisting 300°C or higher heat and further obtaining a hydrogen or helium permeation membrane excelling in water resistance. Similarly, a silicon resin comprising at least phenylheptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and/or 2,6-cis-diphenylhexamethylcyclotetrasiloxane is provided as a hydrogen or helium storage membrane capable of selective hydrogen storage and capable of molding to arbitrary shape and is subjected to a firing step conducted at a thermal treatment temperature of 200 to 500°C, thereby obtaining a coating resisting 300°C or higher heat and further obtaining a hydrogen or helium storage membrane excelling in water resistance.

摘要： PURPOSE: A process for separating a gaseous component from a gas mixture employing a combination of at least one regenerator and at least one ceramic membrane is provided to produce a high purity gaseous component stream. CONSTITUTION: The process for separating a high purity gaseous component from a gaseous mixture includes the steps of passing a feed gas stream containing the gaseous mixture through at least one regenerator to form a heated feed gas stream; and passing at least a portion of the heated feed gas stream through at least one selective ceramic membrane to separate a gaseous component from the gaseous mixture in the heated feed gas stream; thereby forming the high purity gaseous component and a waste gas stream. The process additionally comprises further heating the heated feed gas stream after the second step and before the third step with a heating means that comprises combustion of the heated feed gas stream with fuel; combining the heated feed gas stream with a heated mono-oxide-hydrogen mixture; or by electrical heating.

摘要： A hydrogen permeation membrane that selectively allows the passage of hydrogen and that can be formed in a desired shape is obtained by using a silicon resin that includes at least phenylheptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and/or 2,6-cis-diphenylhexamethylcyclotetrasiloxane. A heat-resistant coating that is resistance to temperature of 300° C. or higher is obtained in a sintering process at temperature of 200° C. to 500° C., thereby providing a hydrogen or helium permeation membrane that has excellent water resistance. Similarly, a hydrogen or helium storage membrane that selectively stores hydrogen and that can be formed in a desired shape can be formed by using a silicon resin that includes at least phenylheptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and/or 2,6-cis-diphenylhexamethylcyclotetrasiloxane. A heat-resistant coating that is resistance to temperature of 300° C. or higher is obtained in a sintering process at temperature of 200° C. to 500° C., thereby providing a hydrogen or helium storage membrane that has excellent water resistance.
