    • PURPOSE: A corona discharge structure for ozone(O3) generation is provided to make easy manufacture and installation of electrode, improve discharge efficiency and decrease energy consumption by setting a cylindrical electrode on dielectrics. CONSTITUTION: The corona discharge structure for ozone(O3) generation comprises a ground electrode(20) in front of a planar dielectric material(10) on which a gauze-typed high voltage electrode(30) with a 0.1-1.0mm of diameter is installed and a case(40) is set on the electrode. The corona discharge between the dielectrics(10) and electrode(30) is generated by applying less than 5.5KV of high AC voltage and 10-40 KHz of high frequency to the electrodes(20,30), when oxygen form an inlet(50) is changed ozone in a discharge part and ozone is generated to an outlet(60).

CONSTITUTION: In a tubular ozone generator with a built-in coil electrode having a coaxial cylinder electrode structure from silent discharge technique, the ozone generator is characterized in that: a suction nozzle(5) and an eject nozzle(6) are protruded by passing through an air suction port(3) and an ozone discharge port(4) having laterally formed grooves(2,2') closely fixing the both ends of cylindrical tube(1) made of a dielectric substance in which the ports(3,4) have grooves at one side of the top of them to be inserted by the nozzles(5,6); that an anti-oxidant layer(6') is formed on the surface of the eject nozzle(6); that a ground electrode(8) to which a discharging aluminium plate(7) is attached is boned to the exterior surface of the cylindrical tube(1) with an insulating tape(9); that a coil electrode(10) made of stainless steel and wound on the interior circumference of the cylindrical tube(1) is protruded out of one end of the tube(1) having an air suction port(3); and that a conventional high voltage transformer(11) is connected to the coil electrode(10).
