    • A suction apparatus is provided to freely change a transfer path, ensure sufficient suction, regardless of the direction of the transfer path, and to transfer an adhesive sheet without sliding it, at the time of transferring the adhesive sheet by suction. The suction apparatus (1) is composed of a suction roller (3) and a vacuum chamber (10). The suction roller (3) holds an adhesive sheet (2) by suction, while closely contacting a film side on an outer circumference plane, and transfers the adhesive sheet (2) by suction with rotation. The vacuum chamber (10) holds the adhesive sheet (2) on a recessed supporting plane (14A) by suction. The vacuum chamber (10) is in the vicinity of a transfer direction upper stream side of the suction roller (3), and the recessed supporting plane (14A) is arranged so as to form the transfer path having an S-shaped cross section with the outer circumference plane of the suction roller (3).
