    • 본 발명은 유류와 같은 인화성 물질을 저장하는 탱크의 내부와 맨홀 등에 물이 고일 수 있는데, 과도하게 고여 측정구를 통하여 탱크 내부로 물이 들어가는 경우 내용물의 품질에 문제가 발생할 수 있고 탱크의 부식을 촉진시킬 수 있기 때문에 맨홀의 물을 배수하여 최소한으로 관리할 필요가 있다.
      종래에 특별한 장치가 없어 맨홀의 뚜껑을 열어보고 물이 고인 것을 확인하여 그릇 종류를 이용하여 직접 퍼내거나 수동으로 작동하는 배수 장비를 사용하는데 불편함과 유증기로 인한 위험성이 있어 안전한 방법이 필요하였다.
      본 발명은 유류 저장 탱크에 있는 맨홀의 내부 아래쪽에 배수를 위한 관을 설치하여 맨홀 밖에 설치된 배수장비 까지 연결하고, 맨홀에 고인 물의 높이를 감지하는 장치를 설치하여 물이 고인 정도에 따라 배수장비가 자동으로 작동하도록 하였으며, 동절기 물이 동결되는 것을 방지할 수도 있도록 관의 내부에 물이 남지 않도록 배출하는 방법도 제공하도록 발명되었다.
      본 발명은 유류 저장 탱크의 맨홀에 고이는 물이 자동으로 배출되게 할 수 있어 유류의 관리에 편리함을 주고, 품질관리에도 유용한 장점을 제공할 수 있다.

    • PURPOSE: An automatic drain device for a level gauge of a water tank is provided to prevent the rupture of the level gauge during winter by automatically draining water contained in the water tank according to the ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION: The automatic drain device(1) for the level gauge of the water tank comprises a temperature control unit, an operating valve(40), an inlet channel(51) and a drainage channel(54). The temperature control unit serves to detect the ambient temperature around the water tank to apply electric power to the outside. The operating valve opens and closes an inlet port(41) and drain port(43) according to the supply of the electric power from the temperature control part while always opening an outlet port(42) connected to a lower connection channel. The inlet channel is coupled at one end thereof to a connection channel(53) of the water tank by an elbow and at the other end thereof to the inlet port of the valve. The drain channel is connected to the drain port of the valve.
