摘要： A safety belt which doesn't keep close to body comprises a safety belt, a tensioner, a flashboard, a buckle and a limiter. The limiter includes, a shell, an entrance for safety belt locates at the side of the shell, upper per and lower rotating shafts are in the shell, the lower rotating shaft engages with two lower shaft seats of the lower shell, a clamp sleeve secures on the lower rotating shaft, on each of two lower shaft seats has electromagnet, a ratchet wheel and a pawl locate on the lower shaft; on the upper rotating shaft secures clamp knot and two upper shaft seats which cooperate moveably, the upper shaft seats with springs locate in the two slides of the upper shell, the ratchet wheel and the pawl locate on the upper shaft, the lower of the upper rotating shaft has electromagnet, and a motor driving lower shaft may be installed in the lower shell. The safety belt has automatic or manual limiter.

摘要： A releasable pawl (28) for engaging a ratchet wheel (26) comprises a first member (34) pivotally mounted on one end by a pivot (30) for pivotally mounting the pawl and a second member (36) adapted on one end to engage the teeth (32) of the ratchet wheel. The other ends of the members are joined together by a hinge (38). Shoulders (40) on the other ends of members are provided to cause the hinge to lie below a line drawn from a center of the pivot to a tip of the pawl when the pawl members are in the locked position. The hinge is then in an over-the-center state, causing forces applied to the pawl by the ratchet wheel to hold the pawl members rigid in such over-the- center state.
