CONSTITUTION: A latch assembly(200) for a vehicle comprises a base(210), a catch(220), a pawl, a cover(240), a plurality of shafts, and a damper(270). The base is equipped with an accommodating groove(211) and a plurality of through-holes. The catch and pawl are rotatably combined to the base and locks or unlocks a striker which is accommodated by the accommodating groove. The cover is equipped with a plurality of through-holes. The cover accommodates and supports the catch and pawl by an interval between the base and cover. A plurality of shafts supports the internal rotation of the catch and pawl by passing through the base and cover. The damper is inserted into the inner end boundary area of the accommodating groove and absorbs impact caused by the movement of the striker in the accommodating groove.

The link unit connects the back support frame and the seat frame. The operation link is hinged to the link unit and the support bracket. The drive unit is connected to the rear latch to unlock the rear latch by the operation of a user.
