    • PURPOSE: Provided is a method of manufacturing ordered printed matter by automatically editing variable data differently inserted in every page, putting the data before transmitting the data into a printer, and printing the data, thereby simplifying process, increasing efficiency of printing work and enabling various sorts of data in small lots to be printed. CONSTITUTION: The method of manufacturing ordered printed matter comprises steps of (a) storing original images(24) including fixed data, variable data(20) to be inserted into the original images, and control data including information of insertion of variable data in host server; (b) generating output images(26) by inserting variable data into the original images according to the information of the inserting conditions; (c) printing the output image; and (d) repeating steps of (a), (b), (c) until finish of printing output images.

    • PURPOSE: A method for compensating pitch error in post-processing of gravure printing and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce personnel expenses and improve productivity and quality by process automation and simplification. CONSTITUTION: A method for compensating pitch error in post-processing of gravure printing comprises following steps. A sheet(2) passing through the gravure printing is supplied through an unwinding part(10) to an infeed part(20). Tension is applied on the sheet provided to the infeed part. The sheet is supplied to a post-processing part(30). The register mark displayed on the sheet is recognized by a scanner during the post processing. Pitch error is calculated by register mark which a scanner recognizes. The tension applied on the sheet is controlled according to the pitch error. The two register mark which is marked to be contiguous to the sheet, are recognized using two scanning lenses, respectively. The difference between pulse signals of the two register marks is calculated as the pitch error.
