The material product is formed, by bending/folding, into desired shapes, such as box sections to form pallet/support platform sections. The formed sections can be fastened together, such as by elongate members passing through a series of aligned apertures between adjacent sections. The elongate members can be heat staked to the sections. Inserts can be used in the ends of the sections to provide additional rigidity and strength. Thus, a composite pallet/support platform can be manufactured in production line form.

摘要： 본 발명은 스킨층과 코어층의 이층 구조로 하여 저렴한 재생 플라스틱재를 코어층에 사용한 합성수지제 팰릿을 제공한다. 이 합성수지제 팰릿은 적어도 일부가 표층인 스킨층과 내층인 코어층으로 이루어지며, 2 종류의 수지에 의해서 성형되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 그리고, 성형하기 위해서는, 게이트부가 데크 보드의 대략 중앙부에서 일점 게이트부를 형성하는 일점 게이트 방식을 이용하여, 금형의 캐비티 내에 표층으로 되는 스킨층의 수지를 사출하고, 이어서 내층으로 되는 코어층의 수지를 사출하여 성형하는 복수층 사출 성형품인, 소위 샌드위치 성형법에 의해 성형할 수 있다. 상기 코어층은 전체의 10∼70 중량%로 할 수 있다. 2층 구조로 함으로써, 저렴하고 성능 저하가 없는 팰릿을 제공할 수 있다.
