    • A clamping system and a clamping method which are capable of preventing the degradation of parallelism during the period from die contact to clamping completion and are capable of maintaining parallelism between die plates at the time of the clamping completion are provided. A clamping system for clamping a fixed die(5) and a movable die(6) comprises: a fixed die plate(3) for retaining the fixed die; a movable die plate(4) which retains the movable die and is moveable in a die opening or closing direction with respect to the fixed die plate; a plurality of tie bars(7) each of which has a coupled part to be coupled with one of the fixed die plate and the movable die plate and a piston(8) housed in the other of the fixed die plate and the movable die plate and generates a clamping force; a plurality of coupling parts each of which is provided to the one of the fixed die plate and the movable die plate and can be coupled with or separated from the coupled part of one of the plurality of tie bars; a plurality of clamping cylinders(9) each of which is provided to the other of the fixed die plate and the movable die plate and has a cylinder chamber for housing a piston of one of the plurality of tie bars and at least two working fluid supply parts for supplying a working fluid generating a clamping force to the cylinder chamber; detectors for detecting physical amounts capable of confirming movement amounts of the pistons of the plurality of tie bars; a plurality of directional control valves each of which is connected to the working fluid supply parts and switches a supply point of the working fluid between a first cylinder chamber and a second cylinder chamber divided by one piston of the plurality of clamping cylinders; and a control part for controlling the plurality of directional control valves based on detection results of the detectors such that a difference of the movement amounts of the pistons among the plurality of tie bars from the time of die contact to the time of clamping completion is within a predetermined allowable value.

    • There are provided a molding device and a control method thereof capable of surely judging whether an error has occurred in the molding device. The molding device includes: error judgment index acquisition processing means for acquiring an error judgment index for judging whether an error has occurred in the molding device; integration processing means for calculating an integration value by integrating the acquired error judgment index; and an error judgment processing means for judging whether an error has occurred in the molding device according to the integration value. In this case, since an error judgment processing is performed according to the integration value of the error judgment index, it is possible to eliminate a high-frequency component generated in the error judgment index. Moreover, even when a noise is generated by jump or time shift in the error judgment index, it is possible to compensate the noise affect. Accordingly, it is possible to accurately perform the error judgment processing and surely judge whether an error has occurred in the molding device.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a control device that controls mold clamping in an injection molding machine. More particularly, a mold clamping control device capable of accurately controlling mold clamping forces that is exerted on a mold during injection molding, reduces defective appearance of ultra-precision molded articles. CONSTITUTION: Upon injection molding, a linear encoder (22) detects a relative position between the movable platen (12) and a fixed platen (11), and a strain sensor (20) detects a mold clamping force. A mold clamping control unit (23) has a target platen position value and a target mold clamping force value. The mold clamping control unit (23) subtracts a platen position and a mold clamping force from the target platen position value and the target mold clamping force value, respectively, to obtain deviations. The mold clamping control unit (23) then switches the target to be controlled between the platen position and the mold clamping force. The mold clamping control unit (23) appropriately converts the deviation of either the platen position or the mold clamping force into a control command value for a motor. The converted value is supplied to a motor control unit (19). The motor control unit drivingly controls a mold clamping motor (18) according to the control command.
