摘要： PURPOSE: A coil for a corrugated steel pipe coated with double high density polyethylene sheet, and an apparatus and a method for coating the coil are provided to considerably extend the life of the steep pipe, and to improve the reliability of adhesion between the steel pipe and the coating sheets. CONSTITUTION: The coil for a corrugated steel pipe is formed by coating the inner surface and the outer surface of a galvanized steel plate coil(2) respectively with a dual coating sheet layer(20), comprised of a first coating layer(18) of high density polyethylene, and a glossy second coating layer(19) of high density polyethylene bonded on the outer surface of the first coating layer, by using a fusion bonding technique. The coating apparatus for molding the coil consists of an uncoiler, on which the galvanized steel plate is wound; a washer for removing impurities on the surface of the coil by using a brush; a high frequency induction heating system for heating the coil passed through the washer; a molding machine for coating the coil with the sheet by a fusion bonding; and a recoiler for cooling the corrugated steel pipe coil coated with the double sheet.
