    • PURPOSE: To provide a simple performance evaluation method and a device capable of executing performance evaluation of an anion-exchange resin even in an online system, and a condensate demineralizer. CONSTITUTION: Inorganic carbonic acid (defined as the collection of the carbonate ion CO32-, the hydrogen carbonate ion HCO3- and free carbonic acid H2CO3) concentrations of inlet water and outlet water of an ion-exchange resin tower (condensate polisher or the like) of an ion-exchange processing device such as the condensate demineralizer are measured in the online system, to thereby evaluate the performance of the anion-exchange resin. In addition, an MTC(mass transfer coefficient) relative to the inorganic carbonic acid is calculated, to thereby evaluate the dynamic performance and/or the deterioration degree of the anion-exchange resin. The deterioration degree of the anion-exchange resin is evaluated by the MTC, and the exchange time of the anion-exchange resin, the life of the anion-exchange resin and the water-collectable quantity or the like are also determined.
