    • A method which can regenerate the catalyst easily and can stably maintain activity of a regenerated catalyst equal to that of a new catalyst for a long time by treating a deactivation-proceeded titanium containing molecular sieve catalyst with a specific mixed solvent is provided. The method for regenerating a titanium-containing molecular sieve catalyst comprises the steps of: (i) washing residual reactanta and impurities by pretreating the catalyst with water or alcohol when a titanium containing molecular sieve catalyst used in the epoxidation reaction of an olefin compound is deactivated; and (ii) contacting the pretreated catalyst with a mixed solution of water and alcohol to perform regeneration of the catalyst. The method further comprises the step of additionally washing and drying the regenerated catalyst with water or alcohol after the catalyst regenerating step(ii). The alcohol is selected from the group consisting of C1 to C10 alcohols. The titanium-containing molecular sieve catalyst is a titanium-containing molecular sieve catalyst comprising silicalite.
