    • A spray crystalliser comprises a crystallization vessel which includes a spray chamber in overlying relation to a collection basin, the chamber having a first opening adjacent its upper end which communicates with the atmosphere and a lower end which includes a bottom for the discharge of slurry from the chamber into the basin, an inlet for air at ambient temp. and pressure from the atmosphere to pass upwardly through the chamber and be exhausted therefrom through the first opening. The collecting basin has an open upper end which defines the air inlet, the spray means is adjacent the upper end of the spray chamber for spraying a slurry into the air flowing through the vessel to be concentrated and crystallized.

    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing apparatus of lithium hexafluorophosphate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to effectively dissolve impurities such as lithium fluoride and metals to be removed from lithium hexafluorophosphate using a hydrofluoric acid(HF) solution. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing apparatus of lithium hexafluorophosphate includes a reactor(10), a crystallizer(20), a HF solution supplying line(31), and a filter(40). The reactor leads the reaction of starting materials in order to obtain a lithium hexafluorophosphate(LiPF_6) mixture containing lithium hexafluorophosphate and the HF solution. The crystallizer heats the mixture in order to evaporate the hydrofluoric acid to be removed and crystallize the lithium hexafluorophosphate. The HF solution supplying line supplies the HF solution to the crystallizer. The filter separates the HF solution and the lithium hexafluorophosphate crystal.
