    • PURPOSE: A composite rotor for enriching uranium is provided to improve the efficiency of uranium enrichment by generating the convection of uranium hexafluoride gas without heating. CONSTITUTION: A composite rotor(120) for enriching uranium includes an upper plate, a lower plate, and a composite cylinder part. The diameter of the lower plate is larger than the diameter of the upper plate. The composite cylinder part is arranged between the upper plate and the lower plate. The composite cylinder part is gradually extended from the upper plate to the lower plate. Uranium hexafluoride containing uranium-238(U_238) and uranium-235(U_235) is introduced into the composite cylinder part. A counter current drive is generated in the composite cylinder part in order to separate the uranium-238 and the uranium-235.
