CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical depth filter for filtering fluid includes a cylindrical core and a laminate. The core is composed of bi-component composite fiber-based non-woven fabric and is positioned at the inner center of the filter. The laminate is formed on the core and is composed of a filtering medium. The filtering medium is composed of a support and a non-woven fabric filtering material. The bi-component composite fiber-based non-woven fabric is obtained by melt-spinning polypropylene and polyethylene. The support is composed of bi-component composite fiber-based non-woven fabric.

    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an antibacterial liquid filter using macbansuk(elvan) is provided to prevent agglutination phenomena and greatly improve function of the filter by manufacturing an antibacterial filter using macbansuk(elvan). CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing an antibacterial liquid filter comprises the process of using macbansuk(elvan) contained nonwoven fabric manufactured by simultaneously spinning with a general synthetic polymer as a support layer and a drain layer after preparing a master batch chip containing macbansuk(elvan) which has porous surface in manufacturing a liquid filter by laying up a support layer, a filter media layer, and a drain layer. The macbansuk(elvan) contained nonwoven fabric comprises 5 to 20 wt.% of macbansuk(elvan). The liquid filter is far superior in the functional aspects such as antibacterial and ammonia adsorption properties to conventional filters.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing acryl filter and the filter prepared by the method are provided, which acryl filter is used to filter rust or floating contained in tap water or underground water. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing acryl bead of 0.1-0.5 mm and methanol in the ratio of 1: 0.7-0.9; injecting the mixture into the lower mold and molding it with the upper mold; radiating high frequency wave to the mixture to heat it at 60-75°C for 10-15 with rotating the lower and upper molds, to make filter having pores; taking off the molded filter from the mold; and cooling the filter slowly by using clean and dry air. The pore size of the filter is preferably 3-5 micrometers.
