    • An apparatus for preventing a dyspnoea in sleep and a preventing method thereof are provided to change a sleep position naturally without awakening. An apparatus for preventing a dyspnoea in sleep includes an air chamber(120,130), an air supplying unit(140), a pressure sensor(150), a semiconductor microphone(160) and a controller(170). The air chamber is located on a back of human make expansion and contraction of the apparatus possible. The air supplying unit supplies the air into the air chamber. The pressure sensor measures a change of heartbeat or respiration of a sleeper and outputs the change into an electrical signal. The semiconductor microphone measures vibration and outputs the vibration into an electrical signal. The controller changes a posture of the sleeper by supplying the air into the air chamber.

    • A multi-layered, composite, inflatable and deflatable article of manufacture is provided. The article includes at least two layers (42) of a flexible, waterproof, air impermeable, optionally water-vapor-permeable material, the two layers (42) forming at least one inflatable compartment (50) therebetween. The two layers (42) have at least one additional layer (46) of a porous insulating material, e.g., batting, disposed between them within the compartment (50). The construct of the invention is useful, "inter alia",in garments, in air mattresses, in sleeping bags, or in a combination air mattress and sleeping bag, and in various bed covers.
