    • PURPOSE: An integrated filter is provided to increase the efficiency of water purification by loading a reverse osmosis filter and an active carbon filter in one cartridge. CONSTITUTION: An inlet(2) receives raw water. A reverse osmosis filter(37) filters the raw water. An active carbon filter(38) is in connection with the reverse osmosis filter using a flow path and filters water through the reverse osmosis filter and discharge the water through an outlet(4). A draining hole(3) drains remaining water from the reverse osmosis filter. The active carbon filter and the reverse osmosis filter are formed into hollow cylindrical shapes. The reverse osmosis filter is installed at the inside of the active carbon filter. The flow path induces the flow of water through the reverse osmosis filter from the outside to the inside of the active carbon filter.

    • PURPOSE: A composite membrane and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to simultaneously implement size exclusion and chemical adsorption filtration by composing a polymer membrane and an activated carbon block. CONSTITUTION: A composite membrane(100) includes an activated carbon core(10), a porous support layer(20), and a polymer membrane layer(30). The porous support layer surrounds the core. The polymer membrane layer surrounds supports. The diameter of the activated carbon core is between 10 and 30mm. The thickness of the porous support layer is between 10 and 200um. A method for manufacturing the composite membrane includes the following: porous supports are wound on the surface of activated carbon. The surfaces of the porous supports are coated with a polymer membrane forming solution. A coagulation operation, a washing operation, and a drying operation are followed.
