    • A plasma display panel is provided to improve a color temperature by restraining a thickness of a protective layer formed on a dielectric layer. Barrier ribs(14) are formed between a front substrate(21) and a rear substrate(11) to define discharge cells between the substrates. Plural pairs of sustain electrodes(22) extend on the front substrate, and include X electrodes and Y electrodes which are located opposite to generate discharge. The sustain electrodes are covered by a sustain layer(24). Plural address electrodes(12) extend on the rear substrate across the sustain electrodes at portions corresponding to the discharge cells. A phosphor is applied in the discharge cells to emit red, green and blue visible rays. A protective layer(25) containing MgO is formed on the dielectric layer to have a predetermined thickness.

    • A plasma display panel is provided to reduce reflective luminance of external light by changing shapes of a sustain electrode and an address electrode corresponding to a green discharge cell. A second substrate(120) is opposite to a first substrate(110). A plurality of barrier ribs are formed in a discharge space between the first and second substrates in order to define a plurality of discharge cells. An X electrode(111) includes a plurality of first discharge electrode parts and a plurality of first connective electrode parts. A Y electrode(112) includes a plurality of second discharge electrodes and a plurality of second connective electrode parts. The X and Y electrodes are formed to cause sustain discharge. A plurality of address electrodes(121,122) are extended across the second substrate in order to cross the first and second discharge electrode parts. A phosphor layer is formed within each of the discharge cells. The phosphor layer is coated by one of a red phosphor(125a), a green phosphor(125b), and a blue phosphor(125c). The width of the first and second connective electrode parts corresponding to the discharge cells coated with the green phosphor layer is larger than the width of the first and second connective electrode parts corresponding to the discharge cells coated with the red phosphor layer or the blue phosphor layer.
