    • A linear compressor is provided to prevent cooling loss due to dead volume and improve cooling efficiency by allowing a piston to be advanced to the forefront position even when controlling cooling capacity, and to easily control variation of the cooling capacity by allowing the piston to be hinge-coupled to a linear moving part by a connecting part. A linear compressor comprises a linear moving part(60), a piston(90) and a cylinder block(100). The linear moving part is reciprocated by driving force of a linear motor(70). The piston is orthogonally connected to the linear moving part, and advanced and retreated in a direction orthogonal to a moving direction of the linear moving part. The cylinder block is inserted into the inside of the piston, and forms a compression chamber(C).

    • A reciprocating compressor and a piston thereof are provided to form a piston with two coil springs having different resonance frequencies from each other, thereby promoting a dual resonance structure and minimizing a dead volume, while simply varying a compression capacity. A piston of a reciprocating compressor includes an operation part(111) for carrying out sliding motion in a cylinder by a moving element of a reciprocating motor for inhaling refrigerant gas, and a supporting part(112) mounted in the operation part and formed with a refrigerant gas path inside. A head part(113) is fixed at an end of the supporting part for carrying out sliding motion in the cylinder to compress the refrigerant gas. A first coil spring(114) is interposed between the operation part and the supporting part for elastically supporting the supporting part against the operation part. A second coil spring(115) is interposed between the operation part and the head part for elastically supporting the head part against the operation part.
