    • Thermoplastic polyurethane is provided to prevent the fire due to high oxygen index, and to reduce the generation of noxious gas because a halogen element is not contained, while having the self-extinguish stability after firing. Flame retardant characteristic thermoplastic polyurethane comprises organic diisocyanates, Long-chain diols, a chain extender, and a mixture of melaminecyanurate and phosphinate indicated as the chemical formula 1 as a flame retardant. The melaminecyanurate is contained in the amount more than 25 parts by weight, based on the solid content 100 parts by weight of thermoplastic polyurethane. In the chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 are the same or different, show C1-6 linear or branched alkyl or aryl group; M is calcium, aluminium or zinc ion; and m is 2 or 3.

    • A method for preparing phenolic resin nanocomposites and epoxy resin nanocomposites is provided to inhibit layered silicate from directly reacting to epoxy resin, thereby improving storage stability. A method for preparing epoxy resin nanocomposites comprises the following steps of: preparing embedment type phenolic resin nanocomposite from organized layered silicate and phenolic resin; and mixing the embedment type phenolic resin nanocomposite and epoxy resin to prepare uncured or semi-cured epoxy resin nanocomposites. In the mixing step of phenolic resin nanocomposite and epoxy resin, 0.5-1.5 equivalent of epoxy group is mixed to 1 equivalent of hydroxyl group of the phenolic resin included in the phenolic resin nanocomposite. The method for mixing the phenolic resin nanocomposite and epoxy resin consists of stirring the mixture at 60-200°C for 1 minute~5 hours.
