    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a tip for a soldering device is provided to plating a tip with an environmentally-friendly material while reducing the thickness of chrome coating. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a tip for a soldering device comprises the steps of: acidifying a tip and grinding the surface of the tip, dipping the tip in a bright nickel plating solution containing nickel, a proper amount of brightener, and the rest water at a temperature of 40-55°C and voltage of 3-7V for 40-60 minutes, plating the nickel plated tip with hexavalent chrome, and neutralizing the chrome plated tip in a neutralizing solution. The tip surface is plated with 30-40 micron meters of nickel and 10-20 micron meters of hexavalent chrome.
