    • Provided are a flow casting die, a die head manufacturing method and a film manufacturing method capable of suppressing the generation of cracks when a DLC film is formed on a base of a die head. A flow casting die is equipped with a die head (82) that is coupled and detached to and from an outlet of a dope. The die head (82) has a base (85), an underlayer (9.2) and a DLC film (86). The base is constituted of stainless steel, and the underlayer (92) is constituted of tungsten carbide (WC). The DLC film is formed on the underlayer (92). A combination of a linear expansion coefficient, a length (LY) of a longitudinal direction of the die head (82) and a heating temperature in a vapor phase forming method is determined such that stress applied on the underlayer (92), which is calculated from external force due to heat expansion deformation of the base (85) and the underlayer (92), wherein the stress is less than rupture stress. The underlayer (92) and the DLC film (86) are formed on the basis of this combination.
