    • PURPOSE: A device for measuring the deformation of a pipe for an underwater vehicle is provided to enable reliable measuring depending on the deformation of a pipe in the water since one side is installed on a deformable pipe and the other side is firmly installed on a non-deformable underwater vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring the deformation of a pipe for an underwater vehicle comprises a pipe fixing body(1), a sensor fixing body(2), an optical fiber sensor(3) and a fixing/supporting body(4). The pipe fixing body is installed on the perimeter of a pipe on the underwater vehicle. For the sensor fixing body, one fixing unit(21) is coupled to any point of the pipe fixing body and the other hinge unit(22) fixes one side of the optical fiber sensor. One side of the optical fiber sensor is coupled to the hinge unit of the sensor fixing body and a tension unit(31) for controlling the tension of an optical cable is formed on the other side of the optical sensor. The optical fiber sensor measures the deformation rate of a pipe.
