    • PURPOSE: Structure of a clutch retainer is provided to reduce shift shock by preventing bending deformation of a clutch plate and a clutch disk with supporting pressure of a clutch piston, and to prevent deformation of the clutch retainer by assembling a boss part and a drum part of the clutch retainer conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A clutch retainer(20) is composed of a boss part(20b) combined with an input shaft for interlocking; a drum part(20c) spline-combined with the boss part to contain a clutch plate(21) and a clutch disk(22); and a bent part(20d) bent radially in the inner periphery of the drum part to support the clutch plate. A snap ring(23) is mounted in the outer periphery of the boss part to prevent displacement of the drum part and the boss part. The clutch retainer is assembled conveniently with fixing the drum part by the snap ring. Deformation of the clutch plate and the clutch disk is prevented in pressing the clutch piston by forming the bent part in the drum part. Shift quality is improved with reducing shift shock by transmitting and shutting off power actively.

CONSTITUTION: A clutch for an automatic transmission includes a clutch plate, a clutch disk, a reaction plate(5), a snap ring(7), and a slip preventing unit. The clutch plates are fixed on the spline of an outer hub. The clutch disks are formed between the clutch plates. The clutch disks move axially by the mutual action of the hydraulic pressure of oil and the elasticity of a return spring. The reaction plate is combined to the outer hub when the clutch disks move axially. The slip preventing unit connects the reaction plate with the snap ring by using a protrusion(13) of the reaction plate and a protrusion hole(15) of the snap ring. Since the reaction plate is combined with the snap ring, the slippage between the reaction plate and the snap ring is avoided.

    • PURPOSE: A one-way clutch is provided to assemble the one-way clutch efficiently by simplifying the structure, and to improve endurance by fixing a sprag assembly in an outer race firmly. CONSTITUTION: A one-way clutch is composed of an outer race(12) having an assembling groove(12c) spaced from an inner periphery(12b); a fixing member(24) inserted to the assembling groove; and a sprag assembly(16) supported by the fixing member. The one-way clutch is fixed in the inner periphery of an outer member, and a sprag(16b) is contacted to the outer periphery of an inner member. Rotation of the inner member is controlled with the sprag assembly. The sprag assembly is supported with the fixing member including a snap ring inserted to the assembling groove of the inner periphery of the outer race. The fixing member is installed and separated from the assembling groove in assembling and disassembling the one-way clutch. Endurance of the one-way clutch is improved with supporting the sprag assembly stably.
