CONSTITUTION: An engine torque calculating method using the steering angle for preventing the breaking of a birfield joint combined to a drive shaft during a backward movement stall comprises the following steps: comparing the steering angle(315) with the BJ intensity danger angle(310); comparing the steering angle with the NON-VRS full turn angle(320); applying different weight to the steering angle by the size of the steering angle bigger or smaller than the NON-VRS full turn angle; setting correction factors by the relational expression of the steering angle and the BJ intensity danger angle; and calculating the corrected torque by the relational expression of the correction factors and the applied weight. The BJ intensity danger angle is 500 degrees. The NON-VRS full turn angle is 535 degrees.

    • A control device of a suspension spring in a vehicle is provided to hold the suspension spring firmly, to reduce noise up of a hood, and to prevent torque steer and shudder phenomena by fixing two upper and lower hook members at catching members when bilateral pistons are extended. A suspension spring is installed with a hook member(5) for restricting tensile motion of the suspension spring when accelerating a vehicle and limiting rebound motion of the suspension spring. The hook member has upper and lower hook members connected with upper and lower parts of the suspension springs respectively. The upper and lower hook members are connected by a corrugation(6). A control unit limits the extended or contacted motion of the corrugation. The control unit has two catching members, a bilateral piston, and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit). The bilateral piston is connected with a hydraulic power unit(12) for supplying or draining hydraulic pressure. A control valve(10) controls a connecting path between the hydraulic power unit and the bilateral piston.
