    • PURPOSE: An air flow rate sensor for an engine is provided to enhance the stability and the reliability of an engine output since an air flow sensor outputs a stable and accurate signal at all times. CONSTITUTION: An air flow rate sensor(1) for an engine comprises a sensor element(3) and a heater(5). The sensor element is installed at the air flow rate sensor in an electronic chip form to measure the flow rate of the air. The heater is located close to the sensor element to heat the sensor element. The heater is integrally formed by making flat layers on the plane parallel to the sensor element. The heater is installed so that it is located between the sensor element and a terminal unit(7) in which the terminals of the air flow rate sensor are gathered.

    • PURPOSE: A fixing bracket of a fuel pipe for a vehicle is provided to prevent lowering of performance and a fire by restricting crack of the fuel pipe and leakage of fuel, and to improve freedom of design of the pipe by installing the bracket conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A fuel pipe fixing bracket is composed of a rubber member(20) having a pipe through hole(22); a first bracket(30) having an installation end(32); and a second bracket(40) bent to insert the rubber member to the first bracket. The second bracket has an installation hole(42) combined with the installation end, and a supporting end(46). A fuel pipe is inserted to the pipe through hole of the rubber member, and the rubber member is placed in the fuel pipe. The rubber member is pressed between the first bracket and the second bracket, and the installation end of the first bracket is inserted to the installation hole of the second bracket. The fixing hole of the first bracket is integrated with the fixing hole of the second bracket. The pipe is installed firmly, and the bracket is moved easily. Crack of the fuel pipe and leakage of fuel are prevented with fixing the fuel pipe by the rubber member and the bracket.

The rod guide is formed into two steps of an upper rod guide and a lower rod guide. The lower rod guide includes a damper portion formed directly beneath the upper rod guide, and a support portion formed directly beneath the damper portion. The damper portion has a relatively larger diameter, and the support portion has a diameter identical with that of the upper rod guide. A mixture of carbon and oil components is accumulated in the damper portion.
