    • The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for purifying biogas. The apparatus for purifying biogas according to the present invention is characterized by including: a purification unit removing hydrogen sulfide and siloxane contained in supplied biogas; a pressure swing suction unit producing bio-methane by receiving a purified biogas from the purifying unit and removing carbon dioxide; and a first return unit controlled to return the bio-methane to the supply line when measured methane concentration in the bio-methane produced by the pressure swing suction unit is smaller than a preset first reference level. According to this, the present invention provides an apparatus for purifying biogas in which a return rate of methane may be improved by returning bio-methane below the reference level of vehicle fuel among the produced bio-methane, and may also be improved by selectively returning a part of remaining gas and purge gas containing carbon dioxide discharged in the process, and amount of methane discharged into the atmosphere may be minimized.

CONSTITUTION: A method for producing biogas using wastewater comprises the following steps: a first step(S100) collecting the wastewater and storing the wastewater; a second step(S200) dehydrating the wastewater and separating the wastewater into a dehydrated liquid and a solid material; a 3rd step(S300) making the solid material into fertilizer by fermenting the separated solid material and generating methane gas; a 4th step(S400) acid-fermenting a minute polymer solid material of the separated dehydrated liquid into the polymer having a low molecular weight; a 5th step(S500) decomposing an acid-fermented liquid using a biological process in anaerobic condition and generating the methane gas; and a 6th step discharging a methane fermented liquid to a water disposal plant or a liquefied fertilizer reservoir.
