    • PURPOSE: A broadband high frequency synthesizer for avionics is provided to remove a spurious frequency component by selectively passing a harmonic frequency band from a frequency signal. CONSTITUTION: An intermediate frequency oscillator circuit(10) outputs an intermediate frequency. A local oscillating circuit(20) outputs a fixed frequency. A band selector(30) comprises a first giro which mixes the fixed frequency by passing the source frequency band of the intermediate frequency. The band selector comprises a second giro which mixes the fixed frequency by passing the harmonic frequency band of the intermediate frequency. The band selector comprises a first switch which selectively connects the first and the second giro to the intermediate frequency oscillator circuit. The band selector comprises a second switch which selectively connects the first and the second giro to the local oscillating circuit.

    • PURPOSE: A small high frequency synthesizer for avionics is provided to simplify a structure by excluding a phase locked dielectric resonance oscillator corresponding to a locked frequency source.
