    • PURPOSE: A device for transmitting and receiving additional data in a digital broadcast system and a method thereof are provided to transmit and receive the additional data which guarantees excellent receiving performance in a low SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) and multi-path environment. CONSTITUTION: An IF(Intermediate Frequency) broadcast signal generation unit(110) generates a broadcast signal of an IF band through FEC(Forward Error Correction) and modulation of input broadcast data. An IF additional signal generation unit(120) generates additional input data as an additional signal of the IF band by using DSSS(Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum). An RF(Radio Frequency) upward conversion unit(150) converts a combination signal of the additional signal and the broadcast signal, which is generated in a signal combination unit(140), into an RF band. A transmission unit(160) transmits the combination signal of the generated RF band.     • A transmission method, a device, a record medium, and receiving device of digital broadcasting signal are provided to multiplex a plurality of service information in a transmission frame to a frequency domain and time domain, and to transmit the plurality of service information in different formats. A encoding unit(310) encodes digital data about M service according to a request of the corresponding service. An M digital modulator(320) modulates the channel encoded service data outputted from the encoding unit. A allocation unit(330) assigns one or more sub-bands and symbols to service data which are digital modulated from the digital modulator. An IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) part(340) converts a signal in a frequency domain for M service data outputted from the allocation unit into a signal of a time domain. A frame generator(350) produces a plurality of symbol durations to a frame body of one transmission frame. The frame generator produces a frame header including the information about M service data. A D/A converter(360) converts a transmission frame of a digital signal outputted from the frame generator and transmits the transmission frame converted into an analog signal to a receiving device.

    • Provided are an on-channel repeater and an on-channel repeating method. The on-channel repeater includes: a receiving means for receiving a Radio Frequency (RF) signal; a subtracting means for subtracting a replica of feedback signals from the signal received by the receiving means; a replica generating means for calculating the replica based on the signal acquired from the subtraction in the subtracting means and feeding back the replica to the subtracting means; an inverse channel estimating means for estimating inverse of a reception channel based on the signal acquired from the subtraction in the subtracting means and generating filter tab coefficients; a first adaptive filtering means for compensating for channel distortion of the signal subtracted by the subtracting means based on the filter tab coefficients generated in the inverse channel estimating means; and a transmitting means for converting a signal whose channel distortion is compensated by the first adaptive filtering means into an RF signal and performing radio transmission.

    • Co-channel relaying equipment and a method thereof are provided to remove noises, multipath signals and residual feedback signals caused by the channel between the main transmitter and a co-channel repeater. Co-channel relaying equipment comprises the followings: receiving units(801,802) which receive radio frequency signals and convert them into signals of a base band; a subtraction means(803) which subtracts the replica of feedback signals from the baseband signals converted by the receiving units; a demodulation means(804) for modulating the subtracted signal; equalization means(805) for equalizing the signal demodulated by the demodulation means; a transmission means(807) which modulates signals outputted from the equalization means, converts them into radio frequency signals, and then wirelessly transmits the converted signals; a down-conversion means(809) for down-converting the radio frequency signals into the base band; and a replica generation means(810) which produces a replica based on the subtracted signal and baseband signal.
