    • A call admission control method of a base station based on radio resources is provided to perform efficient call admission control by determining whether or not a call is admitted based on the perception of currently-available wireless resource states. A base station receives a call admission request(S110), and perceives the states of currently available wireless resources by using the amount of the occupied wireless resources(PRB_Alloc) reported from an MAC layer and the amount of the entire wireless resources(PRB_Tot)(S120). The base station compares the amount of call-requested wireless resources with the amount of currently available wireless resources(PRB_Avail)(S130). When the amount of the call-requested wireless resources is smaller than the currently available wireless resources, the base station compares the amount of the requested wireless resources with the threshold value(PRB_Low) of wireless resources that can be allocated to a general call(S140). If the amount of the call-request wireless resources is smaller than the threshold value, the base station accepts the call admission for the general call(S150).
