    • PURPOSE: A method for reassembling medium access control protocol data units and receiver performing the same are provided to simultaneously connect a base station with a terminal by a multi carrier, thereby efficiently assembling MAC PDU(Medium Access Control Protocol Data Unit)s. CONSTITUTION: A MAC layer of a receiver receives at least one MAC PDU from at least one HARQ function unit of a multi physical layer(S100). A unit for extracting a fraction of the MAC layer extracts at least one fraction from the MAC PDU(S110). A controller of the MAC layer compares the order number of the fraction with a preset start point(S120). The controller of the MAC layer sets a new start point(S130). A unit for reassembling the MAC layer reassembles fractions before the new start point(S140).

A hand-over process device(200) includes a terminal detecting unit(220) and a network resetting unit(240). A hand-over execution device(300) of a macro base station includes a transceiver(310), a terminal searching unit(320), a hand over processing unit(330), and a data buffering unit(340).

    • PURPOSE: An interworking system between a WLAN(Wireless LAN) and a cellular phone network is provided to operate an IEEE802.11 physical layer and an AP(Access Point) according to an 802.11e MAC protocol that improves a QoS function, thereby supporting service mobility and supporting dual modes by selectively interworking a WLAN and a cellular network. CONSTITUTION: A wireless station(310) maintains profile information in the same information type as a mobile terminal, and supports dual modes to connect with a WLAN or to be operated by interworking with a cellular network. If the wireless station(310) requests a call setup and transceives data after the call setup, APs(320) wirelessly connect with the wireless station(310) by using an 802.11 physical layer and an 802.11e MAC function, receive data and a control signal, and transmit the data and the control signal to an APC(330). The APC(330) maintains information necessary for interworking with the cellular network by accessing the APs(320), and connects with an MSC/VLR(350) and an SGSN(340) of the cellular network.
