摘要： The present invention relates to a service wire identification device using leakage current and a method thereof. The device comprises a leakage current generator which is provided in a service wire to be identified, classifies a component, and generates leakage current; a leakage current circuit which is provided in parallel to the ground of the service wire and makes the leakage current flow; and a leakage current detector which detects the leakage current returning from a branch entry point to the ground of the service wire, identifies the service wire with the detected leakage current, and determines the same as the service wire to be identified.
