    • PURPOSE: A method for qualitatively and quantitatively analyzing trace components of an anodic material is provided to obtain a higher detection limit than the detection limit of a conventional ICP analysis method, to quickly and accurately analyze an extremely little component of an anodic active material, and to be used for battery and materials research fields. CONSTITUTION: A method for qualitatively and quantitatively analyzing trace components of a high voltage anodic material of a secondary lithium battery comprises the following steps: manufacturing an analyte sample by putting LiCoO_2 anodic active material, which is manufactured by coating TiO_2, into nitrohydrochloric acid and heating the mixture; diluting the sample for ion chromatography analysis; injecting the diluted sample into the ion chromatography and analyzing the sample; and obtaining the content of phosphate among the diluted solution by substituting a peak area with a calibration curve and drawing the content of the phosphate among the sample.
