    • A metal composite membrane for hydrogen separation and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to supply the stable metal composite membrane without generation of a pin hole, and to solve a problem such as hydrogen brittle problem of a stainless steel metal supporter and bonding force of a porous supporter and a metal separation membrane. A manufacturing method of a metal composite membrane includes the following steps of: producing a porous metal supporter with metal powder; processing the surface of the porous metal supporter by polishing the top of the supporter; forming a metal coating layer on the top of the polished metal supporter; and forming an alloy layer of the metal supporter and the metal coating layer. The porous metal supporter is made of one or more selected from Ni, Cu, V, Ta, Nb, Ti, Zr, Hf, Fe, Ag, Pd, Ru, Rh, Au, Pt, Sn, Co, Mn, Mo, Cr, W, Ca and K. The metal of the metal coating layer is one or more selected from Pd, Ag, Cu, Ni, V, Ta, Nb, Ti, Zr, Hf, Ru, Rh, Au and Pt.
