    • The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating highly concentrated sodium hypochlorite, and more particularly, to an apparatus for generating highly concentrated sodium hypochlorite which controls the supplies of supersaturated or saturated sodium chloride solution (salt water) supplied from a salt reservoir and pure water to adjust balance of sodium chloride solution in an anode water reservoir, which is circulation-supplied to an anode room of a diaphragm electrolytic bath. That is, the apparatus for generating highly concentrated sodium hypochlorite according to the present invention includes a diaphragm electrolytic bath divided into an anode room and a cathode room; an anode water reservoir for storing chlorine gas of the anode room and anode water; a cathode water reservoir for storing caustic soda of the cathode room and cathode water; a diaphragm electrolytic bath for generating sodium hypochlorite when the chlorine gas of the anode water reservoir and the caustic soda of the cathode water reservoir are supplied thereto;a source water treatment unit for pre-treating source water to allow the source water to flows into the anode water reservoir and the cathode water reservoir; a salt tank for forming saturated or supersaturated salt water with solid salt stored therein and pure water introduced through the source water treatment unit and for supplying the saturated or supersaturated salt water to the anode water reservoir; and an anode water reservoir into which the supersaturated salt water of the salt tank and the pure water supplied through the source water treatment unit are introduced and for circuiting the supersaturated salt water and the pure water are circulated through an anode water circulation pipe and the anode room of the diaphragm electrolytic bath.

    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating sodium hypochlorite is provided to save cost required for maintenance and reducing the amount of chlorate which is the byproduct of a sterilizing process. CONSTITUTION: Raw water is pre-treated to obtain deionized water in a pre-treating unit(10). The pre-treated deionized water is introduced into a salt storing bath(20) and a saturated sodium chloride aqueous solution is generated. A membrane electrolytic cell(30) includes an anode chamber, a cathode chamber, and an ion-exchanging membrane. The saturated sodium chloride aqueous solution is introduced into the anode chamber. The pre-treated deionized water is introduced into the cathode chamber. The ion-exchanging membrane defines the anode chamber and the cathode chamber. Chlorine gas and anodic water are generated from the electrolysis reaction of the anode chamber.
