    • PURPOSE: A method for determining a coagulant injecting rate for a water treating process is provided to implement a remote driving operation by continuously determining the coagulant injecting rate based on the quality of raw water. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining a coagulant injecting rate for a water treating process includes the following: the states of a pre-set coagulant injector, an SCD sampling pump, a raw water sampling pump, and a chemical level in a chemical tank are confirmed(S10); real time data is read(S12); whether the read data is normal is verified(S14); a moving average value is calculated based on past data of a constant time interval(S18); operating methods are selected(S20); and a coagulant injecting rate is calculated based on the type of coagulant and the selected operating method(S22).
