    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing L-PDCPD/silicate nanohybrid material is provided to obtain a corrosion resistance material, a cyclic olefin nanohybrid material having impact resistance at a low temperature and high bending strength, and environment-friendly FRP-substituted material by dispersing silicate having high compatibility within DCPD using ultrasonic wave and using an in situ ROMP(ring opening metathesis polymerization) method. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing L-PDCPD/silicate nanohybrid material comprises the following steps: mixing dicyclopentadiene(DCPD) and silicate with toluene; processing the mixed solution with ultrasonic wave; putting an antioxidant into the DCPD solution and mixing the materials; adding a ruthenium catalyst solution; and putting a final reaction solution into a solvent and precipitating the solution. The silicate is added with an amount of 0.5-1.0 wt.% to the weight of the DCPD.
