    • PURPOSE: A manufacturing apparatus and a method for a soft magnetic BMG plate using a vacuum centrifugal casting are provided to manufacture a plate in various thicknesses without replacing an expensive mold by installing a thickness control ring in the middle of a top mold and a bottom mold. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing apparatus and a method for a soft magnetic BMG plate using a vacuum centrifugal casting comprise the following steps: A top mold(302), a bottom mold(301), and a mold(300) including a thickness control ring which is selectively installed in the middle of the top mold and the bottom mold are heated at 170 deg. C to 230 deg. C under a vacuum atmosphere; A dissolved material is injected into the mold with rotating the mold in order to apply a centrifugal force of 30G to 50G; A plate is centrifugal casted inside the mold.

    • PURPOSE: A mold for testing casting defects and a testing method thereof are provided to draw optimal working condition in a short time by easily searching casting defects because casting parameters such as the temperature of molten metal, the thickness of castings, the preheating temperature of molds, and the coating of releasing agent are variously changed. CONSTITUTION: A mold for testing casting defects comprises an upper mold(110) and a lower mold(120). The upper mold comprises at least one thickness forming groove and a flat plate portion. The flat plate portion is connected to the thickness forming groove. The lower mold is coupled to the upper mold to form a cavity. After injecting molten metal, the generation of cracks is determined according to the difference of setting time of casting materials.
