    • PURPOSE: A resonance apparatus of a ring shape for converting high-speed wavelengths of optical signals and a resonance method thereof are provided to improve resonance efficiency by reducing the loss of optical signals due to a short length. CONSTITUTION: An optical amplification unit(10) amplifies optical signals of a light emitting unit generating the optical signals by emitting light. A variable filter unit classifies transmitted wavelengths and amplified optical signals by filtering the transmitted wavelengths and the amplified optical signals in the optical amplification unit. An optical distribution unit(30) transmits some of the optical signals to the outside by distributing the optical signals filtered through the variable filter unit. The optical distribution unit retransmits the distributed optical signal to the optical amplification unit. An optical transmitting unit connects the optical amplification unit, the variable filter unit, and the optical distribution unit. The optical transmitting unit is used to transmit the optical signals in a ring shape. The optical transmitting unit is composed of either an optical cable or a mirror.
