    • PURPOSE: A tidal power generator using self-induced vibration is provided to be operated with maximum efficiency even when the speed of fluid irregularly changes. CONSTITUTION: A tidal power generator using self-induced vibration comprises supports(1), a moving member(3), a torsion support spring, a hydrofoil(7), a generator, a hydraulic actuator(17), an oil pump(19), an oil opening and closing valve(21), and a control unit(23). The supports are installed at constant intervals. The moving member is moved by the supports. The torsion support spring is connected to the end of the moving member. The hydrofoil is supported to both sides of the torsion support spring. The generator generates electric energy by the moving member. The hydraulic actuator is installed in the hydrofoil, and controls the rigidity of the torsion support spring. The oil pump supplies oil to the hydraulic actuator. The oil opening and closing valve is placed at a pipeline connected to the hydraulic actuator. The control unit controls the oil pump and oil opening and closing valve.
