    • The main devices of bottom-up type anaerobic reactor(1) are the inflow waste water distributor(10) for the homogeneous inflow and diffusion of waste water and the gas-sludge separator(4). The waste water being introduced to the distributor(10) is discharged through the nozzles of the radial branch pipes which are connected with the distribution pipes. The nozzles which are positioned at the center of the bottom of the reactor are designed to have the duffusion rate 1 : 2.5 according to the distance from the center. The hole size of the nozzle is determined to have maximum nozzle speed below than 30-35 m/h.

    • The organic waste water is treated by a biological anaerobic process. A waste water sipplier(12) is installed in a lower part of a reaction tank, a gas-sludge separation apparatus in an upper part. A gas flow apparatus(14) is installed in a lower part of the gas-sludge separation apparatus to prevent a loss of a generated gas, and a waste water runoff path(15) is installed in the reaction tank(5). A sub-separation apparatus(16) of the gas-sludge is also installed in a lower part of the separator(13), it has a shape of vertical diaphragm, a size of about 1.2 times of the main separator. The sludge is separated forming an upstream in an inner part and a downstream in an outer part of the sub-separator(16).

A sub-separator of the gas-sludge comprised several slanted stainless steel plate of 60 degree, a length of four sides is 1.15 times of a vertical length to increase a separating destance of the gas-sludge.
