    • PURPOSE: A micro channel capable of creating a helical electroosmosis flow is provided to easily mix fluids by creating the helical electroosmosis flow in the micro channel. CONSTITUTION: A micro channel(10) includes a plurality of horizontal channels(40,50), at least two vertical channels(201,202,203), and an electric circuit(80). The horizontal channels(40,50) are aligned at both ends of the micro channel(10). The vertical electrodes(201,202,203) are aligned at both sides of a bottom portion of the micro channel(10). A power source(60) and a ground line(70) are connected to each of the horizontal channels(40,50). A plurality of resistors are connected to the vertical electrodes(201,202,203) through the power source(60) and the ground line(70). An electric field is formed in parallel to the micro channel(10) by means of the horizontal electrodes(40,50). An electric field is applied to the micro channel(10) in vertical to the micro channel(10) by means of the vertical electrodes(201,202,203).

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a fluid controlling apparatus containing a micro channel having fine electrodes, which can induce three-dimensional helical flow of fluid in the channel by using a local electric field, generated by the electrodes, and electro-osmosis. CONSTITUTION: The fluid controlling apparatus contains the micro channel on the bottom of which at least one fine electrode is formed, wherein the height of the channel is less than 500 micrometer, the width is less than 500 micrometer, and the length is less than 10cm. The electrodes are formed at the same intervals as the width of the channel in the longitudinal direction of the channel.

    • PURPOSE: A micro channel generating a helical flow using electroosmosis and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to generate three-dimensional helical flow of an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A micro channel(100) having surface potential includes helical surface potential patterns composed of a plurality of first potential patterns(102) arranged on the upper wall surface inside the micro channel at regular gaps; a plurality of second surface potential patterns(104) arranged on the lower wall surface inside the micro channel at regular gaps to be connected to both ends of the first surface potential pattern; and a plurality of third potential patterns(108) arranged on the side wall surface inside the micro channel connecting the first surface potential patterns with the second surface potential patterns.
