    • PURPOSE: A hybrid material containing graphene and iron oxides, a method for manufacturing the same, and an apparatus for treating wastewater using the same are provided to improve the efficiency of a heavy metal eliminating process. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid material contains graphene and iron oxides. The particle sizes of the iron oxides are in a range between 1 and 20nm. The specific surface area of the hybrid material is between 300 and 600m^2/g. A method for manufacturing the hybrid material includes the following: A graphene oxide is prepared and is dispersed in water to obtain a first dispersed solution. Divalent iron and trivalent iron are added in the first dispersed solution to obtain a second dispersed solution. The pH value of the second dispersed solution is adjusted, and the temperature of the second dispersed solution is raised. A reducing agent is added in the second dispersed solution to obtain the hybrid material.
