    • PURPOSE: A probe and a method for detecting new influenza viruses are provided to quickly and accurately detect and identify 5 or more kinds of genes. CONSTITUTION: A probe for detecting new influenza viruses contains LPO(Left Probe Oligonucleotide) with a forward primer binding region and a LHS(Left Hybridization Sequence) region which is specifically hybridized with a first region of a target sequence; and ROP(Right Probe Oligonucleotide) with a reverse primer binding region and a RHS(Right Hybridization Sequence) which is specifically hybridized with a second region of the target sequence. The second region is continuously linked with the first region. A method for detecting new influenza viruses comprises: a step of hybridizing a sample with the probe; a step of ligating the sample and probe and forming a probe assembly; a step of performing PCR of the probe assembly; a step of isolating and detecting the amplified product; and a step of determining the presence of the influenza virus when the amplified product is isolated and detected.
