    • PURPOSE: A 3D vehicle mark display device and a method thereof are provided to form a vehicle mark image of high quality by modeling a vehicle mark three dimensionally according to the driving environment of a moving object. CONSTITUTION: A map database(710) stores a map data and a path guidance data related to the map data. A searching unit(720) searches a map database related to the location of a moving object. A storage unit(730) temporarily stores the searched map data. A 3D vehicle mark display device(740) displays a map image using the searched map data. The 3D vehicle mark display device maps the vehicle mark representing the location of a moving object to the map image.

    • PURPOSE: A navigation apparatus and a three-dimensional map display method thereof are provided to implement more accurate route guide by concentrically displaying specific layers of a multi-layer road image, necessary for a user. CONSTITUTION: A navigation apparatus comprises a communication unit(100) and a user input unit(200). The communication unit comprises a positioning part(110), a network communication part(120), and a broadcast communication part(130). The positioning part receives specific data through a GSP module and confirms the current location of a user cased on the received data. The network communication part enables wire and wireless communication between the navigation apparatus and network. The broadcast communication part allows the navigation apparatus to receive broadcast signals. The user input unit is input with commands and data for driving the navigation apparatus from a user.
