    • PURPOSE: A capacitor bias recovery method is provided to improve the bias response time for preamplifier circuits using noise reduction capacitors with connecting a quick recovery circuit to the node of the noise reducing capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A system for recovering capacitor bias uses a quick recovery circuit(210) electrically connected to a capacitive node(235) of a preamplifier circuit(214). The quick recovery circuit comprises a gain amplifier(218) with the resistive input and a controlled current source(225). The controlled current source corresponds to adjustment in the controlled current source of the preamplifier. The controlled current source is electrically connected to the resistive input of the gain amplifier. The gain amplifier is selectively switched to operatively connect the output to the capacitive node of the preamplifier circuit. The system improves the bias response time for preamplifier circuits utilizing noise reduction capacitors.
