    • PURPOSE: A timer changeover valve and a water pressure regeneration type water softener including the same are provided to cancel a load applied between an upper plate and lower plate by water pressure, thereby smoothly transferring driving force within the timer changeover valve. CONSTITUTION: A timer changeover valve comprises a valve housing(210), a valve lower plate(240), a valve upper plate(250), an upper part cover(270), and a timer(230). The valve housing is arranged on a raw water supply passage of a water softener. The valve lower plate is fixed in the bottom part of the valve housing. The valve upper plate is rotated by being arranged in the upper part of the valve lower plate. The upper part cover is combined in the upper end part of the valve housing. The timer performs a timer function for regeneration by being interlocked in the valve housing.

    • A battery mounting structure of a water softener is provided to block basically a direct contact of the batteries with water by mounting the case on a water softener body in a state that batteries are put into a separate case, and minimize a contact of the batteries with water by discharging water to the outside without leaving water in the battery receiving part although water flows into a battery receiving part. In a structure for mounting batteries on one side of a body(10) of a water softener, a battery mounting structure of the water softener is characterized in that a receiving part(11) with a predetermined space is formed in the body, and a case is inserted into the receiving part, wherein the case can be opened or closed, and has the batteries placed on an inner part thereof. The battery mounting structure further comprises: an opening(12) formed by partially cutting out a bottom face of the receiving part; a support(13) which is formed on one side of the bottom face of the receiving part having the opening formed therein to support a bottom part of the case; and an external terminal(14) formed on the support and contacted with the case terminal. The case includes a placement part, a cover part of which one edge is joined with the placement part, an inner terminal and a case terminal formed on the placement part, and a locking unit formed oppositely to a joining part of the placement and the cover part. The locking unit includes a locking groove part formed on one side of the placement part and a locking protrusion part formed on one side of the cover part correspondingly to the locking groove part.

A plurality of flow holes(51a) are formed in an upper flow change plate(51). A lower flow change plate(52) is closely attached to a bottom surface of the upper flow change plate such that the lower flow change plate is rotatable. The lower flow change plate has a flow groove formed in an upper surface thereof, wherein the flow groove selectively communicates with two or more flow holes according to a rotation angle of the lower flow change plate. A first water hole(510) is formed in the upper flow change plate, and a second water hole(520) is formed in the lower flow change plate. Further, the first water hole is formed with the flow holes side by side.
