    • PURPOSE: An aqueous resin composition for a vehicle is provided to have excellent hardness, coating adhesion, water resistance and acid resistance by containing a blocked hexamethylenediisocyanate and 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate copolymer. CONSTITUTION: An aqueous resin composition comprises 300 wt% of a blocked hexamethylenediisocyanate, 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate copolymer, 240 wt% of a viscosity controller, 60 wt% of a butanol, 60-70 wt% of an acrylic acid, 50 wt% of a hardener, 280-290 wt% of an acrylic resin, 30 wt% of styrene, 20 wt% of an initiator, 70-80 wt% of an aqueous agent, and 510-520 wt% of distilled water. The blocked hexamethylenediisocyanate is blocked by 3,5-dimethylpyrazole.

    • A method for preparing a thixotropic agent of a urea modified amide solution is provided to obtain a simpler production method and to save time and cost because grinding and aging steps are not required, as compared with the conventional preparation method of an amide wax-based thixotropic agent. A method for preparing a thixotropic agent of a urea modified amide solution includes the steps of: mixing 1 equivalent of a bifunctional amine with 0.4-0.6 equivalent of a monofunctional organic acid to subject the mixture to a condensation reaction; and adding 0.4-0.6 equivalent of a bifunctional or trifunctional isocyanate to the resultant to cause a urea coupling reaction with the residual amine, and thereto adding a solvent if an amine value is below 0.1 mgKOH/g.
